Developing our performance ability through musical and visual excellence
Our mission is to develop student self-confidence, leadership, social maturity, and practical life skills through the hard work and dedication required of each and every student.
The 270+member College Park High School Band and Guard program is supported by the College Park Cavalier Band Booster Club.
The Booster organization works to support the day-to-day operations of the band program including logistics, meals, events, fundraising, and more.
The Band and Guard program proudly supports the College Park Cavalier Football team and performs at all varsity games. In addition, the Band and Guard program performs at 4-5 band competitions throughout the fall season including UIL 6A State Marching and Bands of America competitions in San Antonio. After marching season, our Guard students continue to compete in Color Guard competitions throughout the winter and spring, while our Band students stay busy with concert season.
Even more important than success at competitions, is the value the band program brings to student performers and the community.
